hi, i was wondering if someone could clarify this.
i played a game with one of my friends and as far as i can remember, we could choose the difficulty of each AI and ourselves as well. i think we chose warlord for everyone and for ourselves but in the game the AI was ridiculously easy. what should i do to have the AI at warlord/prince difficulty??
also, i run civ5 on the windows portion of my mac and i have to play it through windows to play with a PC opponent otherwise it doesn't work (thx to Firaxis for making things more complicated). the game lags too much for the type of computers we have so i suspect this is the reason why. by the way, she plays with direct x 10 and i play with direct x 9 (i don't if this could interfere). anyways, whatever the reason, i'm looking for tips to make the game faster: smaller map, less civs, low graphics etc. can you suggest something. i don't want to wait 20 seconds before my turn each time.
thx.
