[GS] 25 turn loss

I had to share. Recently lost a game on turn 25. No, I'm not new to CiVI. was just a strange quirk. Playing as Pericles ( I always chose random leader) on a Continents map, at Emperor Difficulty. Build Slinger First, then going Warrior. Got Barb rushed by 3 Horsemen and 3 Horse Archers. My slinger was caught shooting at the Barb Scout, and was I the red for health, but got him back into my Capital. Barbs took turns hammering my city.
On turn 22, Mongolia comes along with a warrior. DOW on turn 24. Takes my city on turn 25, after the barbs move away,

Nice. I lost the other day on like turn 5 because of loyalty issues. My one city was suddenly surrounded by 6 AI cities on, seriously, turn 5-10
