I was hestiant at first to use 2D, but after awhile I now can't go back. 2D really helped speed up the game for me, and the clarity of what I'm seeing beats fancier graphics any day of the week.
I have a great PC but now that I'm turned onto Strategic View I can't stop. It's way easier for me to find tiles that need to be improved and enemy units that need to be massacred. Plus turns go by faster.
