I don't remember there ever being such a button in RI. Just double-checked 3.5 in case I was going crazy, but I don't see it there either. Can you provide a screenshot of it being there?

Jeez Louise now I think I must be crazy. I had two previous games under 3.5 with hot fix. One went to Jul 1897 before MAF issues, and the other finished 1975 (comments posted under another thread.) If I was imagining the button it was though the better of 1 1/2 mos of daily play.. Can't produce screenshot as 3.50 now off my system but below is a ROM-AND game showing the button.
Under 3.55 game had a damaged warrior and saw there was no sentry healing button so used just heal button and left it to heal when after a few turns it was ambushed and killed off.
Now I'm sure I never saw this button in RI; I think you just saw it in other mods - I am theoretically aware of other mods implementing stuff like that, but it was never a part of any version of RI.

Will accept that. I am almost 79 and stranger things have happened in my mind.
That brings me to the second point. The saved game below is a recreation that led me to my imaginary "Sentry Heal Button" The wounded warrior on the hilltop in the lower west, has been healing since 2700BC. Now at 2640BC a Barbarian Warrior has maneuvered adjacent to him and preparing to attack. OK my confession time, Old Bucky Beach is a cheater and uses "New Random Seed on Reload" setting. I have ran the save several times with mixed results, dead/survived, but, even at that if you click on the friendly you will see he is still in a healing state and is not alerted.
This is not a big thing and will adjust my play according but just wanted to bring it to your attention in case someone else brings it up.
