the best is when you know they exist. Then it would say "the Americans have destroyed the Americans". it's their own fault for building a city next to mountain that spews fire, anyways.

I did build my capital once deliberate near a volcano.

Actually, that (the first post) makes me think of a potential faster conquest victory (as if the current methods didn't take enough maps).

Known issue. (It's actually an issue in vanilla Civ3 -- just set a citizen to eat 3 food instead of 2 or something). Seems like this kind of thread pops up every month or so.
