3D tutorials

Anyone know where I can DL some good basic tutorials on 3D modeling? I just downloaded OpenFX, and the help files are not really designed to help the absolute beginner. I've never used a 3D program before, and I need some info on the basics.

rhino now also has a beta 3d animation program called bongo. In my signature one link leads to a fairly old tutorial, but it should be a start.
