4 Civilizations to be added

1- Turks: They had a huge impact on world history and events ranging from China, India, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. They were one of the greatest empire builders of all time, cant ignore them.

2- Arabs: From France to Central Asia, the Arabs had a huge impact, even more so in the areas of science & commerce. I know they might not be popular after events Sept 11th, but you cannot underscore their achievements and contributions.

3- Abyssinians: One of the most ancient emipres in history, right from the begining with the Egyptians. They were never huge, but give them high marks for their longevity.

4- Mongols: The largest land empire the world has ever known, that should be reason enough.

Spain, Portugul, Dutch, Polish also come to mind...

Huh... must be where the word "abyss" originated. So much for longevity

Seriously though, civ3 already has the most ancient civilization in it - India.

Abysinians is the right spelling they are the present day Ethiopians. These people have been there since the begining, no they did not conquer, but the fact they endured for thousands of years should mean something. check out a history map, while great empires rise and fall these guys remained.... the Coptic church in Jerusalem is one of the oldest and many references can be found in the Bible and Koran about them (maybe the Torah too but not sure)...

say what you want, WW1 they stung the Italians pretty good!
