Well... fighting in land is slower then fighting on the sea with longboats with a movement of 9 and berzerkers
Germany took 3 cities, the byzantines recovered one and forced me to abandon another one. I still have one of the cities and I'll defend it to the last man

This game has been a lot of fun

Hmm.. fighting on land didn't work too well for me, if I remember correctly you completely forced me off the continent I'm surprised by the Byzantine resilience!

Against the danes I had the advantage of having fast units and you did not
Unfortunately, the byzantines also have cavalry.

Oh my! I see the sneaky Byzantines and Jormanz have once again decided to work their evil schemes against the gallant Vikings of the north. Landing the mighty Jorman forces on our shores once again while our royal fleet is occupied in the south.

However, it is much too late for your nefarious plots, the joint crusade of the gallant Vikings and the Noble french will punish and eradicate the Byzantine menace from this earth! We have simply waited until we could strike at the very heart of the Byzantine empire, and now we are ready, brace yourselves!

The core of the Byzantine empire is ours! The remaining defenders were seen fleeing into the mountains or jumping into the sea. Our victory is complete! It must now be clear to one and all (even the pesky Jormanz) that the Danish-Frankish alliance is unbeatable! (Nice move with the assassin though, didn't see that coming)
