Today that almost everyone is politically so damn correct and that everyone should only use (I dont know how to say it in english) "sterile" words, its very hard to tell the difference between genuine opinion and satire.

I thought the title was a reference to the new features-Religion (Gods) & Espionage-along with significant changes to diplomacy & City States, which kind of represent the "Kings" part of the equation-namely more tools with which to manage the secular side of your kingdom/empire/nation.....what have you. Yes it certainly is a little fluffy, but not entirely inaccurate!

They picked random difficulty levels and changed Deities to Gods to make it sound cooler. Personally I can't wait for "Emperors and Warlords".

Actually, I don't think there's a hidden message in ''Kings''. The expansion is probably named like that because ''Gods & Kings'' sounds fine.
