60 second timer

sixty seconds countdown starts for no apparent reason, and you have to hurry to set everything up or it's screwed. take away the stupid timer its destroying cloud games, makes it impossible to start a game !!!!!!!
 
PBC is so bad supported it sucks. I stopped playing it. insteed of fixing things they ad a stupid timer
 
Yeah, I'm having some issues with PBC as well.

It's not just the timer. When the other players join, I can't see them in the game room. When the timer hits zero the game sometimes starts without everyone in the game, even though they having joined the game on their own screens. Sometimes some player can see every other player when the game suddenly starts. Sometimes i can see 3/5 players in the room when the game starts. When my turn is over the game tries to switch to the next player that I can see has joined. Sometimes skipping over a player that is in the game, only not for me. The next player get a notification that it is his turn but he cannot play because the game should go the another player before him. It's a mess!

Another thing is when we continue a online game with PBC and then go switch back to online again, the game is locked into simultaneous turns, even though we played hybrid turns before. We can change the turn timer options but not the Turns option.

So most times it works, after a lot of tries to get it up and running but not being able to change the turn options is so annoying. The PBC experience as a whole is suffering a lot because of these things.

The most recent problem I just started a thread about. One player can't join the PBC anymore (https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/error-joining-play-by-cloud-session.651314/).
