On a more important note, I think donsig makes a good point about using more gpt than we are planning right now. Since this is going to go to a spot vote anyway, I challeng the attendees at the turn chat to come up with a good middle ground between gold and gpt to pay for banking. It would be nice to immediately upgrade a few pikes as soon as we trade for gunpowder.

Sorry I couldn't be here for this, but I think we should go for the more gpt deal instead of the get rid of our treasury deal. Maybe we should try to get banking from someone, then turn around and try to trade it to the Zulu or whoever desn't have it for gunpowder. That way, we would be getting both techs. Then we could trade banking to the other civ for astronomy. (If they would do it.)

Oh, scientists are not hacks, and one day we will walk on the moon.
