Welcome to the 6otM22 Opening Actions thread.

STOP - Please do not continue reading this thread until you have completed at least 80 to 100 turns in your game.

This thread is used to discuss the game once you've started playing through your first 100 turns. Apart from normal decency, the only posting restrictions are to please not post videos until the deadline is finished and to use the spoiler tags for screenshots. Here you can post questions related to the game and share your achievements/anger/frustration/victories while you play. Please remember that we are running a family friendly site, so express anger or frustration with this in mind. :)

Felt pretty safe going for builder/settler opener into a horseman rush. Unfortunately lost my initial warrior to a scout after taking down a barb camp to the west.

Got about five horsemen total but honestly that was overkill. I think 2 could have gotten the job done. Rome was close by and very easy to take. Unfortunately other civs were pretty far away. Took out two Chinese cities easily but accidentally friended Macedonia although he only has two cities total anyway.

Still no religion, in a tight race for the fifth spot.

10 total cities
3 captured
2 from captured settlers

5 theater districts finished, 4 being constructed

missed the first writer just barely, easily got the second one.
