Current:
Each consecutive election rig increases CS influence by +100%.
e.g. First rig = 50 :c5influence:, second rig = 100 :c5influence:, third rig = 150 :c5influence:

Proposed:
Each consecutive election rig increases CS influence by +20%.
e.g. First rig = 50 :c5influence:, second rig = 60 :c5influence:, third rig = 70 :c5influence:

Rationale:
Longstaying spies in CS scale way better than longstaying spies/diplomats in major civ cities. This should place them back into equal footing.
It'll also be easier to keep CS influence from going out of hand.

So convenience here is a chart to compare old rigs vs proposed rigs with network points so you can get a feel for the power level.

I am assuming 30 NP per turn for a spy as that is generally the average I see for early spies (and also if the new spy level change kicks in). It takes 15 turns to do a rig so that is what this is based on. I assume Renaissance era until Turn 60 (so era scaling starts at 3 and moves to 4 at turn 60).

My initial reaction looking at the chart, this change might be an overcorrection. I definitely think it should be lowered, but this quickly gets close to a 50% nerf or more.

I might propose a 40% growth rather than 100% as a counter, I'll think about it.

50 was just used as an example in the proposal, the real value is 30 scaling with era.

ah, so is the % increase per rig correct? Just provide me the correct numbers and I will update the table.

You also forgot the -influence on all other players (not scaling) and the higher decay with higher influence.

Remind me about the first mechanic, it’s 10 each rig I believe?

Higher decay is a factor of influence regardless of source…that had to be considered with any influence source not just rigs

Equal to base influence gained for you, not increasing with each rig.

so just making sure. For a starting rig (which is in Renaissance, era 3), a base rig gives a person 90 influence and lowers someone else by 90?

That seems way out there, I know the cumulative look good, but the base is that good?

yes, the Influence gained is 90 in Renaissance, 120 in Industrial and so on. But the other players don't lose that much, they only lose 5 Influence, scaling with Era.

ah ok that makes more sense.
