Nothing of Value

*Nothing of Value means that the Civilization only has less than 50g and/or a World Map to trade to us.

I would not trade it before we know astronomy. The "best case" would be us knowing astronomy and banking, and giving banking for luxury resources. This would not give the other civs the opportunity to trade overseas.

If possible, I would trade luxuries from Aztecs and Zulu, including our dyes to motivate them to keep the deal. Persia should preferably pay us gpt, but get no luxuries.

Looking at the map, I conclude that all trades with Zuu and Aztecs go thru Persian sea tiles. Thus Persia declaring war on us will break all deals with Zulu and Aztecs and must be avoided.

Sell Persia saltpeter. They should be willing to pay a good price for it. And it motivates them to keep peace.

Or trade away all connected luxuries in order to prevent Persia from trying to extort.
