(a bit weird) city screen

there are 2 things that in a way confusing:
1) the small icons representing built structures (in "improvements" list) are missing and it sucks, 'cause i, personally, am not looking at titles, when investigating cities, but briefly look at the small pictures - it's more comfortable (psycho thing, you know

), IMHO..

2) when building colosseum, the map shows temple icon.. ok, i hope it's just a bug

But we are Europeans. Of course we prefer icons! From my encounters with American culture, it would seem to me they are less keen on icons and happier with words.

If they choose to release Civ3 with words only capability, I hope they include an option where you can turn icons ON!

Relax guys, there are icons to the left as you see, but they haven't put them in at the stage of development when this was taken. There is an identical icon to the left of each improvement for now, I am sure they will finish that before release.

I hope it is a test page, beacause I don't like the way they have used dollar signs for trade, or put smiley faces around.

Yup the dollar signs are really ugly. Hope they leave them out in the final version. Anyway I think that the progammers wants to have fun while making the game and therefor includes smilys etc.

I like the $ signs for trade MUCH better than the arrows (how did that make sense anyway?), and I also like icons, but overall I think that the city screen how they have it now is great.
