I have no time to actually mod this, but i'd like to give my idea out to the public.
Well basically, have you ever wanted to make a costum civ without loading a mod or anything? My idea is that when you are starting a game, and you choose to make a costum civ, you basically costumise your civ before playing!
I'll try to explain better, Let's start of with Basic Info, what your civ is called, and what people live in your civ are called etc. Then we can go to Leader, you pick the traits you want, and name your leader whatever. Afterwards you go to the next screen and choose your UU. You first begin by selecting which base unit you want to have, whether it is axeman, swordsmen, worker whatever. Then for each unit there will be a list of possible bonuses to give to your unit. It is a fixed list of possibilities so you don't get anything to overpowering. (some bonuses may include 25% towards melee for Spearmen or something) Some bonuses will also come with a negative. For example one bonus could be for an Axemen could be +1 power but it's 50% towards melee drops to 25%. (Like Vultures).
After the UU, you go for the UB. The UB is pretty much the same as the UU with a selected amount of Bonuses etc. You can name your UU or UB whatever you want.
There will be a color picker for you to choose what color you want your civ to be. City names can be easily made up while you play as most of you know, so no need to make one yourself. (I guess later on we could make a list that could be added to the mod for the more popular civ's out there).
Then if the mod is successful, we could add generic leaderhead's that could be used in making a more customizable civ, and perhaps some generic flags for the civ?

What do you guys think?
