A couple questions

I just finished my 1st game, and it was GREAT. I love most of the new options. I just have a couple of questions, which may or may not have been reported already (I didn't see it).

Are the odds reporting correct? In a mech infantry vs rocket artillery battle, I had a 65.1% chance to win. I lost 43/48 battles with those odds. The chances of that are worse than the lottery.

I would have reloaded, except a turn earlier I got 170 mech infantry, 21 modern armour, and 42 strategic bombers from saladin for 1 wheat, 1 pig, and 1 dye... It instantly brought me from 0.3 of ai army strength and 6 techs behind to 1.2 of ai army strength with a modern army. Is this supposed to happen? (We were both on the same side in a war).

The 'odd' values the AI puts on resource trading has been noted elsewhere. It's on my list to look at (but the list is long).

As to the odds - I am not AWARE of them being flawed but I haven't looked at it in detail.

I actually just read a post about how the ai really likes "apples", so sorry about that.

I was just wondering if DoM changed combat in some way that would make odds no longer relevant. I guess it was just bad luck?...

And the AI still considers alcohol as worthless... but not ciment or ammunition...

Odds are determined by Random Number Generator. Look it up in Google. It doesn't combine your fighting experience in one large pool for odds. It predict odd for each single battle separately. You just had a bad luck in that fight, is all.

I don't use Combined stack attack, but aren't the odds shown always best unit against best unit instead of stack vs stack?
