a different screen problem

Hey guys,

I'm new and going through withdrawal. I haven't been able to get Civilization III to work for a few months because of what looks to be a screen issue with my monitor... my screen is set to the right 1000 something x 1000 something resolution and the game boots up fine until i get to the main menu where you select "start new game," "Play the world," etc. once that screen gets there, some of the stuff that SHOULD show up on the left side of the screen shows up on the right... it's like the screen is wrapped in a funky sort of fashion... if anyone has a clue how to fix this I'd really appreciate it. I have no idea how it got messed up.

I have the same problem, I've yet to find a solution, it's really frustrating. If you find out how to fix it, plllleeeeaaaassseeee tell me, I've been dying to play this game.
