I have an old Marla map saved game almost done that crashes. I thought the settler dying on a boat thing had been fixed before but if that's now fixed (if it is what happening, even on God mode I couldn't see what was wrong) would the old-old game be playable in the new version? And, if so, what would happen to the edits in the previous game (added hit points, added a few anti-corruption flags, not much, usually add resources but didn't on a real world map)? If it is reloadable (and it works) what rules would it be playing under?
Do the cryptic references to the AI trading really mean that the AIs can be set to be as unreasonable with each other as they are with the player so that every AI doesn't have every tech as soon as one of them gets it? Frankly, I've never been able to figure out how AIs with no money and no special advances or luxuries can still wind up with any tech anybody gets.
If you install the patch and load a saved game that had modifications, what happens to the mods?
