I'm a relatively successful monarch level player, wanting to move up to emperor. I've been working on getting better at micromanagement in order to help with the move up, which I've found to be fun, rather than tedious like I assumed it would be.
Anyways on to the questions. I know that cities that have been razed still have culture surrounding the former cities borders, but if a new city is built there does it start at 0 culture with the borders still extended and exerting cultural pressure, or does the city start with the same amount of culture from the previous one, just with the culture producing buildings destroyed?
What is the best way to use the great generals to get a medic III unit? I usually fuse the great general with my military city in order to produce more experienced units, but what is the best way to use it to get the medic III unit? If I gave the 20 XP to a stack of one unit, would that be enough to build heroic epic? Is there anyway you can give a unit in a stack more XP than the others so that they're not all split evenly?
Also I've never run a pure GP farm before which I want to start trying to do. Let's say that I hire 5 scientists in a city and then after he's born, I immediately fire them, and hire priests, am I 100% guaranteed to get a great prophet or do the former scientists taint the GP pool? This is assuming that there are no wonders in the city that are tainting the GP pool
Thanks!
