Civ 5 Season 5 Playlist

Its our 5th season of Civilization Let's Plays. This game features Rich, Justin, Miles and myself in a 4 person free for all game. All AI civs have been removed and the number of city-states has been reduced. This should encourage much more civ sprawl and tilt the game more towards a wide strategy. These lets plays are more about entertainment than anything else. We enjoyed making them and hope you enjoy watching!

Civilization 5 - Brave New World DLC
Map: Small Continental
Turns: Quick

JJ - India
Justin - Poland
Miles - Assyria (Prince difficulty)

Cool stuff, will take a look at previous games, you guys seem to have a fun vibe going on.

As for this game, I'm betting on Justin, because Poland, and he has a good starting location too.

Thanks for watching Teproc! We'll see how things turn out ;) Justin is relatively new to the game and Miles is in his second or third game. So we'll see how they turn out.

And if anyone watching would like screenshots, stories, more stats, or anything else, let me know and I'll see if I can provide. We'll be doing additional videos as well for newer players and debates based on how this game turns out. We already know we'll be doing a video on India's start strategy and things to consider when starting out, putting points in an honor tree is a good idea, and culture victory basics.

If anyone has other ideas on what they'd like to see from us, let us know!

Civ V BNW - Episode 1: All Hail Justin, the One True God-King!

The Nine2Five crew is headed back to its Civilization 5 roots! Everyone is excited to start and explore in a brave new, yet strikingly familiar world. Miles is especially ready to shake off the bad advice JJ had been feeding to him in the last game! Justin is the first to take a pantheon and declares himself the God-King. It seems as though the barbarians are not amused.

Civ V BNW - Episode 2: I need more of those knives...

The barbarians have come and it seems every civilization is having trouble with them. Trade routes are plundered. Workers are lost. But for India, there's just enough stability for the first great work of the game, the Great Library.

Civ V BNW - Episode 3: I LOVE GOLD!!!

The barbarians are still present, but civilizations are starting to gain a foothold. New cities are founded by the Poles, Moroccans, and Indians. The Assyrians and Moroccans are also establishing a special kind of relationship.

Civ V BNW - Episode 4: I am the light

The Assyrians and Moroccans continue to develop their...special relationship. Meanwhile, the Polish have constructed the Great Lighthouse after discovering that they are on their own continent. India has build the Stonehenge. I'm sure the Statue of Zeus built by the Moroccans shouldn't concern Strippersville at all.

Miles is the first to have a Great General, and he does what any sensible person would do, establish a fortress to guard his great capitol! The Polish and Indian civilizations have bigger problems with their coffers running empty. Poland is already losing science as a result, and India is on the verge of doing the same.

Civ V BNW - Episode 7: I've had better days...

Money problems continue for every civilization, except the Moroccans who are enjoying their gold mines. They buy a little sugar from Strippersville in exchange for their northern neighbor to stay afloat. Poland and India continue to expand, but not quite at a rate that they enjoyed in the past. The Moroccans are on their way to the top!

The Assyrians must have thieves somewhere as they are losing gold hand over fist! Despite this weakness, the Moroccans to the South continue to prop up their feeble neighbors in exchange for peaceful expansion. This golden age for the Moroccans has led to several wonders and a jump in their score. Poland and India have taken notice, but are trying to get out of the poor house before making any other moves.

The Moroccans continue to fund the Assyrians with gold, but this time the price is a forward-settled city for the Moroccans. In other mis-direction news, the Moroccans continue to showcase their wonder hoarding brilliance and have shut up to first place in the scoreboard. India maintains its tech advantage for now, and Poland has more policies, but neither civ is in a position to check Moroccan advances, yet....

Civ V BNW - Episode 12: Marco!

Navigating by the stars has been researched, and the Indians and Moroccans have found other lands in the world. Both ocean faring civs see just how far they've progressed in technology and culture compared to the Polish and Assyrian civilizations. Will trade routes open up between these new lands, or will there be weapons instead?

The religions of the world have begun spreading even further out. Nukes for Peace has taken the city-states in the north of their island, while Nintendofanboism threatens to spread past its own shores. The Moroccans get some helpful advice about which wonders to start building, while their "partners" the Assyrians, just keep on stripping.

The Moroccans are traveling over the oceans to spread the good word of "to Learn Stuff"...although I'm pretty sure its just a bunch of dudes trying to encourage the rest of us to visit Strippersville. The Polish aren't to be outdone on the religion though. They have set sail as well, to encourage all to invest in their latest MMO...er religion called "Nintendoism". Looks like the beginning of some religious wars.
