Actually the posting time is longer than the game time.
My play time was fragmented, so it seemed to have taken a long time to finish the game.I thought about invading North Africa, this time and in the game I played under SVN revision 910. Both times I came to the conclusion that it's not worth it. I prefer to settle southern Africa instead.
Problems about invading North Africa are:
1. Need a good army. Catapults and other units.
2. Moorish respawn. Happens when there's indie cities in the area.
3. Logistics. Need another road across the desert.
4. Barbs. Songhai feraris.
The first two are the real problems.
Regretably, I cannot play any lategame civs due to my crap laptop.
Do you mean Ferraris?

Btw, how would you deal with Portuguese TC event demanding Accra - I for example do not settle Accra, but Wadan 1E of cow. This time I disliked the ahistorical settling of South Africa, but I understand it was for UHV, and it's not forbidden, thus possible

A question for moderators - can we have a folder like "Fresol's Gameplay Guides" where all of his gameplays will be as subfolders? For better orientation?

Personally I'm more interested in India, because of the map overhaul and the additional barbs appearing in the subcontinent. Not saying India will be next though.
I've never met Portuguese TC in my Mali games. I suppose I would just give up the city in case it happened. Having cities in south Africa makes you immune to negative events like this(and for example, the plague), so it has become a routine in my Mali games.
We only have one moderator here -- Leoreth.
I suppose CaterpillarKing could add links to my games into his post at the stickied Forum Index Thread, if they are considered worthy. But for now my signature would do the job.

Yes, Phoenicia can be challenging at times. The starting situation can be bad, but sometimes when Babylonia does not build the Oracle and Greece is weak in defence, you can have a very smooth game. Obviously it's harder when you pick a worse start.
