A missing civilization...

Ok looking at a list of ALL the civs I noticed that their is no civ for ANY current African countries other than Egypt......... I am not counting the Zulu since it is a dead language. We need to add Kenya, the Republic of South Africa, and maybe Chad. One of those three.

Disregarding the spot about zulus, I definitely think carthage should be added, maybe a couple more african nations

1) wrong forum (always read and listen when Jecrell speaks)
2) Carthage had been done (thanks to Jecrell again)
3) Zulu had been done and so are a certain number of african civ (thanks to civarmy)
4) if you look for a civ to add, first look to the library (sticky thread)... it's updated quite often and you won't say things that can seems, well, stupid in this forum (no offense but Carthage were one of, if not THE first modded civ and so were the zulus)

I don't disagree that a modern African civ would be a good addition, but the game designers had their reasons for not putting one in. Modern African nations just haven't had as big of an effect on world politics than their older predecessors. South Africa certainly made news with Apartheid issues and Nelson Mandella, but none were really outstanding in civilization terms, in the way that Egypt or Rome were.

(**this is largely similar to CivArmy's except that I wanted to add a few leaders and preserve the Nguni name)

PS - Just wanted to add that Zulu is neither a dead language nor a dead culture.
