Edit : this mod does not has any effect on gameplay. It just uses the normal speed calendar when launching an epic speed game. A simple and brilliant idea I would like to have.

I guess an online or fast speed calendar is more realistic for epic speed. Using a normal speed calendar still results in 17th century planes.

Year 1600 is turn 230 on normal speed. However 230 turns on epic speed is enough for any Civ on any map to build up a dozen bombers. Sometimes you even manage to fly to Mars given 230 turns on epic speed.

Time should go as fast as the #1 techer from reality standards.

But time is relative. I don't really care about it personnally. If we restart humanity from 0 AD the results will be largely different. We could be either way already on Mars or haven't built a single computer yet at this date.
