As I've noticed in the Mods Repository that I seem to have obtained a monopoly in the modding market as in I'm the only modder that's still developing thing with/for Vox Populi modmods.

It's not bad or good, but when I usually get 1 message in the inbox about suggestions and stuff per week. I often have to turn them down or hold it off much much later.

Now considering that I mod specifically with Vox Populi, I'm probably the most experienced beside the developers of Vox Populi. I have probably tested more event features and bugs than JFD has with his event compendium.

I'm considerably experienced in Lua after almost a year of utilizing the code.

Yet I want to pass onto these knowledge. I know there is a 3uC/4uC project in the process of just idea projection, but as far as I know it is not in development at all.

Which is why I'm willing to offer a tutorial on making the 3uC/4uC components. If you run into problems, I'll troubleshoot for you.

If you're interested in making the 3uC/4uC or you want to just code separately a new modmod for Vox Populi, hit me up on my Steam profile. Despite my 50+ friend requests, I've often notice when I get an increase and check whether or not it's a fellow Civfanatic or not.

Even if you want to make a compatibility feature for that favorite mod that you think it is underpowered or overpowered Vox Populi, I'll help you out with those.

I'll give you a warning however. Modding can be as easy as your temper. Your bad temper can easily make your modding experience insufferable.

Enginseer, that is very kind of you. Though I can't mod and can't help with VP modding, I very much appreciate your hard work. Thank you.

I've wanted to get into Civ modding, and don't know where to start. I'd like to express interest in this tutorial, though with starting up work again soon, I can't guarantee how active I'll be in the modding scene, though I'll do as much as I can. I'm a big fan of all your work, and would love to contribute to expanding the base of mods we have!

How are you planning to do this tutorial? Are you going to publish a document with instructions?

The tutorial will have at least some understanding that you know the #1 rule in coding: there are rules. Disobey one coding rule and the code falls apart. I'll be teaching the language that is easiest to learn and I should have been utilizing for months in Vox Populi developing: SQL.

Pending on how public support for this goes out within 3 days, you will learn about Venice's 3uC/4uC development in which you can bring back a dead unit from revival and learning how to create a unique building. This is by far the simplest and I'm sure you can make unique building replacements for all the other civilizations with the tutorial. I chose Venice specifically because no one came to dispute it and I feel is arguably balance enough.

For the modding overall, I recommend ModBuddy, Notepad++, and SQLiteSpy to be your best buddy. But most importantly you must have the time and patience to mod because Civ 5 is not a mod-friendly game. (Game doesn't dynamically update as you make changes to the mod unlike Civ 4 :()

On another note, I'll be also documenting my compatibility changes which I am doing both right now and releasing them within today.

Seeing as this has won over my expected amount of 3 people support in helping the modding community of CBP. Please add my steam profile(can get from my civfanatic profile) for further modding instructions.

For those providing moral support, I expect people to be kind and not impatience with their modding such as demanding a Great Writer Replacement that drastically does something different from a Great Writer. Instead you can do your part in a much better help by updating the cbp wiki, so our future modders do not have to resort to the tedious coding of today's development of CBP mods.

Thank you all. I will consider this poll closed and a modding tutorial exclusively for Vox Populi will be made in the open.

I recommend my future modders at my school of thought take a gander and immerse themselves in the knowledge firsthand at
XML data files for standard civilizations
Dummy buildings and why do I care?
"WTH i love xml" and why would I change to SQL?
why would I want to enable logging? That just annoys me!
I don't know how to add IconAtlas reference.
My semi-edition of the Vox Populi modding guide before it got locked to me.
