So I am enjoying what I have been able to play of G&K so far. But I am having two major issues:
1) I can barely get the game to run on my old laptop that I use to play most of the time. It crashed several times upon loading before I made some recommended changes (to the config.ini file), deleted all mods, etc. So it ran for a while but when I founded my first religion, the Steam popup caused the game to crash and I have not been able to get it running again since. That was 2 days ago. I know the computer is under spec but it always worked decently before and like I said it worked on the launch day but not since. Anyway that is just a rant but if anyone has any ideas I would be happy to hear them.
2) Since the game won't run on my computer now I have been using my wife's computer and it runs just fine there. But it seems to be losing my save files. When I opened up the game last night there were no save files except for the pre-expansion ones. However, there were autosaves so I was able to rescue my game. I will check again tonight to see if I can confirm but I am quite sure that I quicksaved the game before closing it.
