I once had a wine hill, multiple bonus grasslands and grassland with cows on within my initial city radius. Unfortunately, it was surrounded by huge expanses of Jungle.

I've never seen that many luxes of any type in one place. 7 is an ungodly number. The most I've seen is probably 4-5.

With big young maps with lots of civs; specially if you go to the extreme with 3 billion year old huge maps and 31 civs, you will huge clusters of resources and luxes.

I have seen cases with 15-20 of the same lux in one cluster (while with 8 civs it would just be 4-5 in the same cluster on the same map)

that is an awesome start. just if you got grassland. maybe we should have the top 10 list of best starts in Civilization 3. that would be awesome.

Blackbird: Great idea. But it would be a case of everyone submitting starts to one thread with no extra posting allowed. Then after, say, a month, the thread closes and the top 20 are selected perhaps and a poll is run. Doubt it will happen though.

Just a resource icon mod. Just shows the tile properties, basically.
