A thought on Unit Templates

I see Golems as Part Mechanics part magic, the magic part is more crucial than the mechanics part. But that could be D&D tainint my vision. So i think of them as "tough".

Are you sure about 10% elfness? I'd never heard or seen that before.

I am indeed sure. At least about the defense. I haven't attacked into many forests in my time, so maybe it doesn't work on offense like the woodsman promotions. I think it should, if it doesn't.

tough- creature always deals damage as if it were at full strength

pain resistence- creatures with pain resistence deal a minimum of half thier max damage towards a foe
"the inbetween idea"

Spoiler :

berserkers fury- damage dealt and damage taken is increased by the % of health lost in battle
up to but not including 200% damage, because the creature would be dead at 100% damage

my own private blend for berserkers-would also increase the collateral damage from each attack.;)

Ooh, that's nifty. Might need to weaken the berzerkers by a point or two to compensate, but I like the idea very much.
