A Wishlist Thread for Civ VII

Why not 10,000 BC?
Actually 4000 BC is VERY late. especially IRL cities had already been built with strong stonewalls or similiar strong walls made of either compressed dirt or baked clay bricks.
10000 BC is way too early and would make the game too long

10,000 BCE would be ideal for a super marathon game. But then you might have to begin with towns and villages that evolve into cities. It was around 8,000-7,000 BCE when the first full cities emerged. It could also depend on how we adjust the year per turn increments. That's why I would have options for a fast game starting at 5,000-6,000 BCE, Standard game at-7,000-8000BCE, Marathon game 9,000-!0,000BCE. That is if we continue with the usual time-jumps we get in the ancient and classical eras.

I'd like to see Civs remain the constant through the ages while our Leaders change. If the goal here is to build a Civilization to stand the test of time, then at least give us the opportunity to remain "America" if we choose to play as them in the Antiquity era. In other words, each Civilization would have three pools of Leaders. One set for Antiquity, one set for Exploration and one set for Modern. Would be a rather difficult task for some Civilizations while others, like America, would be rather easy. In America's case, as an example, Antiquity Era would be any one of the Founding Fathers: Washington, Adams(John or Samuel), Jefferson, Madison(wouldn't mind him honestly given 1812) or Monroe(ditto w/ Monroe Doctrine). When moving onto the Exploration Era, Andrew Jackson would be an easy pick given all the Exploration Expeditions while he was President(although one could argue John Quincy Adams deserves the credit). Then in Modern era, you have quite a few: Teddy(Great White Fleet), FDR(WW2), Eisenhower, JFK, etc.

Leaders and their skill trees could be reset for each era(leveling the playing field). I mean I understand the notion of Civ's evolving over time, but we risk destroying tradition in Civ as I see it.

Got another wishlist idea I'd like to see but given that this is now the 7th iteration of Civilization, I'd like the option to utilize the OST from all previous installments. That means Babu Yetu from Civ 4, Brave New World from Civ 5 or Sogno di Volare from Civ 6 would all be included and we can have them as our Main Menu theme if we so choose. As well as implementing in-game soundtracks from previous installments to go with those created for Civilization 7.
