Two new tribes, still waiting on two order sets from original tribes :o

Uz'Ug Orders

In the village always - Four women, One man (Keni Roger)

-Two women pregnant at a time(50% of women in the village), each year two have children(hopefully).
-Pregnant women will work, all work, until they are too far along in their pregnancy
-All in village help with raising of kids, Keni teaches them finish when they get old enough
-Make dug in homes with clay/mud walls, grass or fur roofs perhaps reeds from the swamp.
-Nap rocks to make tools from stones found near by or brought home by team
-Keni will fish with sticks and rocks in the river, others will help when other work not needed.

Hunting and Foraging Team Five men - One women (The Warriors)
-While out Forage for edible plants, Doke(one of the men) will taste unknown plants to see if they are ok. If he doesn't get sick or die and it taste good, begin gathering that plant on forage missions.
-While hunting, stay away from real big animals. Throw rocks, bash things with sticks (like rodents, small deer, snakes, etc)
-While at camp work on creating tools, perhaps they will figure out a spear for fishing and hunting.

When Kids come of age
-Split evenly up into the two groups and assume the same roles

Fantastic orders :)
We approach update 1!

Maybe, you should color areas on the map for tribe areas?? If you do my tribes color is purple for that is there sacred color

I will do something to represent location.. until you get much bigger, you don't really control any area's of land.

So I noticed the stats changed, are we going to get a story update or do you just want more orders? And wow did some of them change.

Wow! They did indeed!

Update 1!

Ah, the Franconids. Strange tribe, not doing very well; their insistence in running around only hunting rabbits has not done well for them. Their family group has survived, but growth is severely limited considering they have to travel further and further to find rabbits. Without any means of carrying water, they are stuck. Many children have died of starvation. They are extremely good at catching rabbits however, and are skilled with slings and snares. If only they branched out a bit, they really could do well.

The Tugon have faired better, though still have their quirks. They are a matriarchal vegetarian society. The original men died out in their 30's due to a mixture of old age, animal attacks etc, an all the time the children had worked with their mothers on the land. Now the society is lead by women, with men merely being workers. They have a large stash of weapons that two men had spent 10 years stockpiling. Some rethinking will see significant growth.

Eulovana and Zorakh have both been successful, but this comes with its own pressures. The lake has less and less fish, and several times women have broken into fights while down at the river. Eulovana success in farming berries has given them a healthy diet and along with their fine buildings they have began to edge out their rivals. War or co-operation, only time will tell [Contact/Trade/Diplo Possible]

Agora’s leader, Chief Unga'Dunga saw the need for many more people. He ordered his men to mate with the women as much as possible. This didn’t meet with much approval by the women, and some left the tribe, where they went is unknown. From that slow start however, with abundant fish stocks the population rose rapidly. Sleeping out under the stars is getting pretty tiresome however.

Uz'Ug is by far the most successful tribe to date. A cautious, methodical approach has resulted in great advances. They grew and grew, building nice houses to live in. By testing the plants around them they have discovered many useful to themselves, both as something nice to eat, but also as something nasty to use on prey. They will rule this cradle if they are smart.

Little is known of the Sparthens, apparently they were determined that the women hunted for lions, even while pregnant. Whether it was the lack of food, water, babies, or all of the above.. this funny tribe will not have any more written about it.

The Utushi have domesticated the first animal in paradise! Having suffered under a diet of berries and fruit, struggled along. A breakthrough came when a younger member of the tribe decided not to smash his egg, and instead look after it. The young bird took to living with the boy and now there are a small, breeding colony who are comfortable with humans. They reside in caves at the base of the mountains, an while still weak, this tribe could really have something of value.

Stats have changed.
They now look like this:

Eulovana // merciary
Colour: Pale Yellow
Pop: 110
Advancement Points: 4
Food Levels: OK
Resources: Water, Clay, Wood, Stone
Skills: Basic Construction, Basic Farming, Basic Fishing, Basic Hunting
Warriors: 56

You spend your advancement points on gaining new skills. 1AP, 1 New Skill. You can pick one from the list, or instead just think up something. You can attempt to learn something for free, but it is unlikely to work. If you have contact with a tribe you can trade anything you like. Yes this is a bit mean on those who had a bad first turn.. but that’s life. Those lucky tribes who went the right direction survived, those who did not soon died out. There is still a chance to survive, you will just have to be a lot smarter with your next few moves. I am mean, because ultimately, I only want 3 or 4 nations to survive this stage of the NES.

The NEXT turn will be another 50 years.

You seemed to have changed the stats whilst I was looking at them. I dropped from a tribe of 110 to 65 and Uz'Gu just leapt up to over 200!

Do you want us to post our skill acquisitions and such here?

Is the update like next week or when ever all the tribes get there orders in. And do we do our orders like we have been!

Yeah, well i calculated in the competition with your rivals across the lake, as well as your lack of housing...also, i was interrupted as I was updating.

It is another 50 years, so same kind of orders again, now with the added fun of spending on skills. Try and get your men to do unskilled things and it will more likely fail. Learn from the lessons of update 1 and push onwards and upwards!

Don't forget Eulovana and Zorakh can diplo with each other. Everyone else? I suggest sending out some scouts!

Is the update like next week or when ever all the tribes get there orders in. And do we do our orders like we have been!

Whenever all orders are in, and when I have the time!

The Sooner the better!

Orders like last time, but hopefully with some lessons learnt from the update.

I'd like to spend my points on all my offered skills please: Basic Hunting, Basic Fishing, Basic Fur Craft & Basic Flint Work.

A Old man in his 50s has taken role as tribe leader Hes name is Bismuth. He told the tribe to stop moving for rabbits. They were moving to far from the sun Hill and they cant go farther Some men have found a usefull plant called Mint. It heals and is a tasty herb. With its taste it could be traded with other tribes.

Mint might cost 1 ap or so if it does tell me.

You can teach other tribes. You can trade however you like..once you have contact.
