Hey guys

Just had a thought. Infernal citizens only appear in cities settled by the infernals right? So that means that if they conquer cities owned by other civs, these do not have infernal citizens. The odd thing is that (because of hyborem's fallow trait), these cities do not grow. Would it not be better to remove the fallow trait from hyborem, and add its effects the infernal citizens building (if this is at all possible)?

I would prefer that, but it would also make the Infernals vulnerable to events like blight. Perhaps is is better just to give this building out in captured cities.

Blight would only affect the humans though. Makes sense. Its the price you pay for capturing as opposed to settling :)

He's got a point, it would encourage infernal players to raze cities as standard procedure.

This would also stop Hyborem from losing his Fallow trait when he dies.

...And make Hyborem even weaker than he is now.
I say Demonic citizens in EVERY Hyborem city (I think it's supposed to be that way but it isn't due to a bug) Maybe add extra revolt time to compensate.

If anything it should be less revolt time because I'd assume the human population is all being sacrificed/killed to be replaced by demons. Hard to revolt when you're dead or turned into a demon. Seriously though, no need to make the game harder on Hyborem. Whens the last time you EVER saw a computer played Hyborem do well? Have you ever done well with Hyborem without intentionally setting up your old civilization to become Hyborems? Just my 2 cents.

how about cities automatically go to 1 pop after you "decide not to raze the city" which is automatically a demon citizen, the rest become manes as normal
vice versa for capturing an infernal city, except it goes to 0 pop

That would be horrible if you lost a city to the Infernals and then recaptured it. I don't think it is a good idea. If something like this were done, at the very least it shouldn't happen until the city comes out of revolt.
