About production carry forward

Hello, my 1st post :)

I have a question about production carry forward.

Example
1st turn, i send a worker to chop wood.
2nd turn, start construction of warrior (cost 15 production).
3rd turn, gain 45 production from chopping. So warrior is completed, and 30 production is carried forward. Then i start training another warrior.
4th turn, another warrior completed.

Now, after the 4th turn, would i still have a leftover of 5 production (45 - 15 *2) carried to the next turn, ie the 5th. Answers are appreciated.

All leftover production is not added right away, but is given during the next turn of production.

For example:

If your city has 3 base hammer production, and you rush a warrior.

The warrior is built. If you have 5 hammer production leftover. For 'one' turn after your warrior is built, you'll have 8 base hammer production.

3 + 5 = 8. Thats how hammer production is carried over.

Except it does cap out. I tried to store production in one of my cities once. It was generating like 70 hpt and I was building scouts (40h) non-stop. So he should have been gaining 30 hammers each turn. But then it capped out at around 300 hammers and it would not go up anymore. So I think it must deduct some hammers also (maybe 10% or something?) so that you can't exploit like I was trying to. :) Of course those 300 hammers was still helpful as it cut the building of my spaceship part by 5 turns. But no I won't be using that exploit anymore, it was more to see if it worked.
