Accelerated production

I tried the accelerated production option in 1.29 beta recently and I saw a great improvment in my score... so is it a consequence of the option or this mean that I just got a lot better at playing civ3?

I saw a big improvement because of the corruption level was lower. I have gotten a lot better at playing and especially at placing the forbidden palace in good strategic spots. Now if I could just get better at controlling when the Golden Age happens. EZ
