Access Denied

For about 75% of the time I try to download and run a mod, when I'm extracting the zipped file, there's an error message that comes up that says:

...cannot create Eurasia18.CivWarlordsWBSave [for example]
Access is denied

Anyone know how to fix this?

where to exactly are you trying to extract the file?
do you have access rights to the folder?
is it write protected?

Um, I moved it into my public maps folder in Warlords then tried to extract it there. Using WinRAR by the way. I'm fairly sure I have access rights, and I don't think it's write protected.

I believe I had WinRAR installed before, then uninstalled it for some reason, then reinstalled. Would this have anything to do with it?

Try extracting the files to some location where you certainly have access, such as your Desktop. Then move the extracted files to their proper location.
