[C3C] Added a #GCON can you add a pic?

That’s much better than my tacky z- method.

It´s the same core-idea, only starting with the start and not with the end. :D

I was fiddling around that since a longer time, but I wondered if it would be worth the effort. Now with giving concepts different images for the chapter headlines, so they can be recognized more easily by the users of a mod, may be it´s time to do the following revamp of the civilopedia of my mod:

conceptslist3-jpg.464968

1-About CCM is the headline of the chapter "About CCM" Here the new concepts of that mod are explained. The linked single concepts in "About CCM" receive the prefix 1a-, 1b- an so on, so they now are appearing directly under the chapter-headline as 1-, 1a-, 1b- and so on,( 2- and so on). In the game these entries show before entries with the letter "A" like Additional Hitpoints. The chapter headline (in that case 1-About CCM) receives a special image, so the player can easily see the start of a new chapter, as the headline for chapter 2 (and so on) will also receive an individual special icon.

Here are my current civilopedia concepts divided into chapters with different images for the single chapters. As the concepts headline accepts a lot of signs including points and the other signs you can see in the screenshot, it is possible to give the civilopedia concepts the form of a table of content - and the best is, as there are only prefixes to civilopedia content headlines to add, none of the existing links had to be changed. :)

You’ve got to love it (on the rare occasion) when Civ plays fair.

Most people I’ve played against won’t check the Civilopedia and just keep asking me questions in-game because they can’t be bothered to find the entries. I guess knowing what to look for is the key here. Then they complain when I figure out their battle plan like I have a cheat button for “steal plans”. That’s the main reason why I wanted to make a tactics section. With it players don’t need to know about all of the units and what units work in combination with each other.
If you want to attack a nation with a land border, go to Land Tactics and pick a method applicable to your level of technology.
Now newbies can fight like the pro’s and maintain operational security.

P.S. I’ve found out that the game can have a 150x250 image for ICON_GCON_(text)LG.pcx if you need to make a diagram for a battle plan or something else.
