Hi,

I want to add a civ to my game without having to load a mod. So i figure the best way to do that is to add the new civ-files in the custom assets folder. I have all the files i need for the new civ. But im having some trouble, I can see where all the XML files goes under the custom assets folder. But the art files i cant see where i am suppose to put them, because the names of the folders are different then the civ-mod files.

Can someone please help?

Just create folders you need in your CustomAssets and put art files there. Or put them anywhere but change links to them in xml files.

Yes it worked thank you. However the civ doesnt work when i load a mod, and that was the whole idea. Do you know how i can fix this?

Well, no, since we don't know what exactly to fix ;)

Not easy to guess.

Dont suppose you have any ideas? I thought that when you added something in custom assets then its worked in the game untill you removed it, mod or no mod...

if the custom asset folder is for a mod then its only for the mod, if you created a custom assets folder and then changed the links in the xml file it should work for a regular civ game, if however, you install another mod then you need to change the xml links in that mod's xml folder as well (should just be cut and paste for the most part though).
