I tried two Mods, which came with the game (Charlemange, Defense), that use that option.
But I can't build anything in it.
E.g. I select the town icon to place a town on the map.
But all that happens is that the map moves to the point where I left-clicked. Same goes for every other ressource.
I'm using the latest patch.
Is this some bug or do I have to press some "secret" key or whatever to place e.g. a town on the map
edit: Nevermind...it wasn't really the latest patch version, now after installing the right one, it works
