I enjoy taking my time and building a good looking empire but i can't see myself turning off all the victory conditions, i may consider turning of the military victory at some point as i never play for it but it may make the AI focus more on the other victory conditions if so. Only one i turned off in Civ6 was religion just because i didn't like it
question on the update - if you turn off score victory and the modern era gets to 100% without one of the final projects completed, does that now become an automatic loss?
This is nit correct. Legacy paths further the ending of the age. And thus scoring. But score victory should be possible when the max turns are reached.

The only victory you can't disable in the presented option is the conquest. So, as I see it, if you disable all modern legacy paths and score victory, the only way to win is to eliminate everyone.
Each age has a max amount of turns. If you disable all legacy trees, it follows naturally that the only way to win is through conquest or score victory after the end of the allotted turns.

It feels like maybe this is a stepping stone rather than a thing it's reccomended you do... If you're picking your legacy paths already it's easier to add in new ones...

Personally, I'm not mad at the current version of the game and I'm looking forward to this update as well. Not sure I like the load screen and the inability to just click on which leader I want to play without scrolling through a list, but it is what it is. The rest all seems good; I'm looking forward to tweaking settings this way and that to give the game different parameters just for the fun of it all.
I see there are those already upset about the new features they haven't played yet, and all I can say about that is, 'take it down a notch'
The difference of difficulty for the 7 wonder legacy paths between 2 and 12 players will be quite noticeable. I‘m not sure if I would rebalance the numbers per map size or player count though. If you need, e.g 12 wonders on tiny, it‘s too much of an investment while 4 on huge could be rushed with relative ease.
Well right now it is 21 Antiquity Wonders...
once RtR is out.. that should add 2 civ specific antiquity Wonders... 23
and 4 more generic Wonders... Probably at least 2 would go to Antiquity, because that area needs Wonders for the Path.
So I would say that you will have between 20 and 25-27 Wonder in antiquity depending on how many DLC you have... And I every time they add a new Antiquity civ in DLC that number goes up. (unless they start repurposing generics)
But if they aim to have at least 2.5 wonders per player (what standard map size civ no DLC..20 Antiquity Wonders for 8 players)
Then a well balanced Huge map is at 25 (10 players).. or 30 (12 players).. with RTR they should get to good 10 player minimum balance... with later DLC they will probably get to good 12 player balance.
