Advanced start mod

    I have made a mod targeted at speeding up the pace of play by giving the player and the AI colonists and explorers at game start. The AI also gets 5 points of each affinity type to give it a strong head start and improve its military units quality.

    To install the mod: - Download and unzip the rar file.
    - go to this directory: C:\Program Files
    (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond
    - copy the file to this folder (make sure you make a backup of the
    old handicap folder first!

    To play the mod: - Start a game of beyond earth.
    - Select Vostok difficulty to get the mod to work *IMPORTANT*.
    - In the cargo options for your civ select laboratory. This will enable
    the free colonists for your civ at game start.
    - Turn off stagered start in the game seeding advanced options.
    - Start the game when happy with your settings and enjoy :)

    Mod features:
    - Free colonists at game start. The player gets 7 and the AI gets 10 (it tends to lose 2/3 to aliens).
    - Free explorers. Player gets 3 and AI gets 4.
    - AI receives 5 points of each affinity at game start.
    - Most of the vanilla AI vostok bonuses are removed. It does keep the 10% bonus to health and it also gets +100% max unit supply.
    - Tougher, more competitive AI.
    - More agressive AI.
    - AI tends to develop more leader traits and do better in general.
    - Do your best to catch up with the AI at game start!

    I may release a steam version, although there's quite a lot of XML scripting to do..
    If you want to change some of the mod bonuses/handicaps just edit the XML file.

    Uninstall: just verify the game on steam or replace the file with a backup handicap folder.
