Africa

At first thought it might be browser problem - it gets just to the end of download and hangs. But the other two had no problem.

I tried again and encountered the problem that you're having, but i tried saving it instead of opening it and it seemed to work. It might be an issue with the zip file. I'll try to upload it again soon.

I've added some generic, albeit ahistorical, cavalry to post 3.

I wouldn't say they were entirely ahistorical. Many of the documented cavalry units were more generically Muslim (North African/Arabic) in appearance, but not all. The Mali Empire had a cavalry using lances & whose commanders were known as "bow-carriers".

If you decide to extend this series into the gunpowder era there are many interesting and distinctively African units, such as:

The minos (from Dahomey) - units were all-female including officers

amaFengu militia from Southern Africa (Cape Colony/Boer War era)

KhoiKhoi mounted sharpshooter (note the leopard skin uniform)

Thank you so much for the generic cavalry! I love them!

Any chance of some generic gunpowder era African cavalry in the future?

You're units are wonderful and plugging so many gaps!

Love your units, I used a couple of them in my mod (I gave credit where credit is due). Is it possible if you could make some heavily armoured units for western African/Sahel?
