AI Aircraft

Hi everyone.

I've been noticing something that bothers me lately. I'm at peace with everyone in the game, but it looks like they are bombing me.

Anyway, here's what's happening:

1. I have a Mechanized Infantry fortified in my city.

2. Another civ sends a Fighter, Jet Fighter, Airship, etc on a recon mission.

3. As soon as the aircraft flies over my city, it does an attack animation, even when there is no war.

Now, the defending unit doesn't actually receive any damage, so all it seems to be is an attack animation problem.

Is there any way to fix this without needing irritating updates?

That sounds like what usually happens with a re-con mission. I know of no way to change it

Ok, thanks. I dunno what their obsession with performing recon missions on my cities is all about.

I think it's the same as running troops endlessy around their empire - if they have a unit they have to do something with it...

It could be something to with the severe lack of a military. My only military exists on the East Coast in Washington D.C and New York, but they are ready to defend. With it being a replica to the US Military, only cities in real life that have military bases will have troops in my game.
