AI can't expand at the beginning?

So, I'm playing a game on Prince, and it seems like the AI has a lot of trouble getting to the Settler tech. I'm already at 3 cities, 1 i found through ancient ruins, and I'm like 2x as much points as AI. Is there a way to make AI more prone to go for settler tech and expand?.. is this normal?

In the next version, Settlers from ancient ruins a restricted to the fact that you need the "Settler Tech" (Social Structure).

The Ai doesnt get much boni on Prince, so its more or less a easy game since the Ai is in general in CIv not really good.

The point system is also overworked in CCTP, so it can be misinterpreted when you compare it with vanilla Civ.

The way the Ai take choices for techs, is defined by flavors, the tech Social Structure is already a very high flavor to force the ai in this direction.
 
Also, do you know if super warmongering AI mod is compatible with this mod?

Sorry i have no clue about this mod, if this mod only changes xml files, then it could be compatible.

But since i guess we update the same functions in CCTP, you need to activate the mod you would like to play with after CCTP.

Otherwise CCTP would replace super warmongering AI mod, and also it could be that this effect the ai behavior, since CCTP is a huge total conversation.
 
So... what could be the best difficulty level to play in this new version?
