I was playing on the earth 2 map, standard size, Julius Ceaser, monarch.

Lincoln started in Spain, I started near Moscow. I axe rush his capital, but not until he manages to found a city on Africa. His capital was now on Africa, and on this earth 2 map there was no land route to Africa. So i declare peace, take it as a victory, and keep on playin. Little did I know that my pushing him onto Africa made him the ONLY civ on Africa. He expands like crazy and completely owns everybody in tech :crazyeye: oops. I also had no barbarians on, which probably helped him...... a lot :mischief::lol::king:

During this game I also managed to found a city with 3 clams, an irrigated corn, cows, sheep, and iron in BFC. Needless to say, it became my GP city.

If anybody tells me how, I could bring up a save of when i realized he was pwning me and everybody else.

I run XP, if you have Vista it might be different. You want to open My Documents/My Games/Beyond the Sword (or whatever version you're playing)/Saves/single/auto. In the auto folder, you'll find autosaves from the last game you played. The saves will only be from certain points in the game, and they get overwritten after a certain point, so you might have your starting save but then nothing until 1800 A.D. I believe there's a way to adjust autosave settings on the options tab in the game, so that can help you with future games. I also play on the Hall of Fame mods, though, which has extra features built in, so I'm not sure which autosave settings came with BTS. Hope this helps you.

It also helped the AI that all foriegn trade routes got the +100% "Intercontinental Trade", which payed for the REXing...

But wow... just wow. That is an amazing "Come from behind" victory!! What victory condition did he win with?
