AI difference between Regent and Monarch? More than what Editor has?

Just wondering, beyond the cost/price ratios and other details we can play with in the editor, have any of you noticed a huge difference in the AI play? I mean do they get aggressive because they have more stuff or because on higher AI levels they just are more belligerent?

Thanks.

I think they tend to be more belligerent on higher levels simply because they have more units from free unit support and reduced production cost. At Warlord, Chieftain and Regent levels, you can get the AI to bully you if you don't build any military.

I have never noticed any difference in the AI civs other than what the editor dictates. Granted, that causes a VERY large disparity in their actions. If you are much stronger than they are, the AI always behaves the same way, and if you are weaker than them they will issue demands and the like regardless of difficulty. You are far more likely to be weaker on the higher levels though, so that can make it SEEM like the AI is acting differently there. But trust me, if you don't expand quickly enough and make poor decisions, they will bully you on Chieftan and Warlord as well. :)
