If CivA is trading it's silks with CivB, and CivC pillages the land with those silks... why is CivA furious with CivB instead of CivC?

Do you think Civ4 should change this odd CivA, CivB, CivC effect?

Absolutely! The 'puter should keep track of which civ breaks a deal.

I reckon it should be annoyed at both of them As it's Civ B's fault for failing to protect it's resources.

In fact, it should spark some kind of incident.

"It has come to our understanding that civ C is interfering with our trade. We demand that you take action against them to remedy this."

or

"It has come to our understanding that civ C is interfering with our trade. We graciously extend our generous hand to help you resolve your issues of national security. ... In exchange for a bit of leniency on our trade deals, no?"
