AI Leaders Requesting Alliances Again

Since the recent leader pack and update the AI is requesting alliances and friendships again. I had not realized that the AI had stopped asking me for those options. But now that they are requesting alliances and friendships again I realized they had been absent for a long time. Any one else notice this?

No, they've been asking for a while now. In fact, during NFP the AI would usually refuse my requests to renew friendships when they initially expired and then would ask for a friendship a turn or two later. The AI will also ask for an alliance if an AI you were allied to is no longer your ally.
