After playing several games with the latest patch, I've managed to build the Great Lighthouse and/or the Colossus every time with prioritizing them. Half of those times I built both in my second or third city. If I choose to not build them and the AI does, they'll finish around turn 150 or 200, which is much later than they used to. It was my understanding that the AI prioritized the Great Lighthouse, or at least used to. I don't typically beeline these wonders either! I play on Prince or King generally.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Depends on which map and which civs you are against. Sea civs like England, Ottomans, Polynesia and Portugal seem to prioritize the Great Lighthouse. I don't know about Colossus, that one seems easy, as it was before the patch.

The civs I've been playing against are varied, the English, Danish and Polynesians included but none of them tried their damnedest to get it. Ah well, more for me then!

Great Lighthouse has gone in all my games so far, though polynesia has been in loads

every wonder will be gone if Polynesia is in the game. He's worse wonder spammer then Ramses or Hiawatha. I especially hate it when he builds wonders just because he can, like GMoD\HS when he doesn't have religion.

anyway, Denmark seems to love Colossus and Great Lighthouse. I've often seen him build it very early on. GL with England is no brainier, it makes their navy incredibly powerful, because they can run from one corner of the map to another in 2-3 turns. :D
