AI Trade Agreements

This has happened several times now. The AI (various civ) pops up with a trade agreement. I click accept then he says its not good enough. We are usually on friendly basis or at least neutral, but most of the time we are friends and a DoF in place too. They have done it on RA's too.

Thoughts? Happen to anyone else? What do I do?

Doesn't this happen when your previous deal expires?

He just wants new terms of agreement, I think.

Yes, it's happened many times. Annoying when he/she won't accept what they have proposed. It has only begun fairly recently though, so it may be an oversight.

Try posting it in the bug section and see what sort of response you get...

This has started a lot more since G&K. They offer 124 gold and 5GPT for a resource, I accept and they say the deal isn't in their interest. Their stupidity and wasting of my time could lead to war one day!

Also noticed a lot more DOF turning to denouncement as soon as the DOF expires despite my civ being nothing but a stalwart friend. The diplo is the only major bug in this game IMHO, having said that it only really matters on King or above.

Yes, that confused me as well. But MadDjinn mentioned in his G&K LP videos that there is actually a slight textual variation when they want to renegotiate the deal, and when they just want to renew it with the same terms.
