Air combat xp

Is it possible to give xp to bomber planes for doing airbombardments and airstrikes?

Otherwise they can never get any xp.....

Yes at least for airstrikes, but it requires using Python. I have it in my mod. The bombers get an expirience points for a successful airstrike. They also have a small chance of getting an additional experience point for each unit that is damaged through collateral damage. It's a WW2 mod called Civ4 Panzer General and I'm hoping to release a beta version in about 2 weeks. If anybody is interested in testing it, I'll put a message on this forum about it when I upload it.
