I turned on yields around turn 25 and I noticed higher yields on base terrain around the two AI capitals I had visibility in (Rome and America). They went away a few turns later. AI gets a golden age at start? This was on Emperor.

P.s. City-states didn't get this, their tile yields were normal.

They get more happiness than us. In order to have a GA on t25, they would have needed something like 20 excess happiness on average before then. Sounds plausible, though slightly surprising, on Emperor. Despite what you might think from their positions, they get a lot of bonuses!

One way to a super early golden age: Pop free culture from some ruins, go for Honor Social Policies and burn the free Great General on a golden age. Could the AI be doing this?

No, this would require a brain. I think it is indeed the :) bonus they start with.

Even on Emperor its not unusal to see an AI with 1000's of gold and +40 happiness in the BCs, the more I play the more the AI seems to have - good thing it doesn't know what to with the mega bonus.

Would not be surpised to find the AI starts with 20 happiness, connects another couple of resources and gets +10 per rersouce.

So a GA at turn 15 is very probable.

People who likes to smile the most.... Ever wonder what it was referring to ?

In Immortal I have seen:

1./ AI 75
2./ AI 74
3./ AI 72
...
7./ AI 68
8./ me 4

Ho and at the same time I have 4 happiness...

Meaning AI reaches 74 happiness well...
Ai just have a massive bonus to prod; gold; science; culture and happiness that's all..
